DEATHCORE MUSIC

What is Deatchcore music? Deathcore is considerate a fusion of Death Metal and Metal Core. But many people think that is a wrong definition to this kind of music because we can´t recognize essences of Metal Core, but there are many things of Death metal.

Deathcore is a very insulted and rejected gender but I think that this happens because people don’t understand the music and lyrics of this wonderful music.

Everyone listens to music, weather you listen to slow soft music or hard thrash porngrind. Either way everyone has their own tastes and opinions. So the opinion I would like to talk about is my favorite type of music, Deathcore.

Deathcore as I mentioned is a combination of death metal and metalcore combined with tough lyrics and brutal breakdowns. Go ahead and call me a pussy for liking it but i think deathcore is good and meaningful. Some of the main “mainstream” deathcore bands are “Suicide Silence” and “Job For A Cowboy”. The other better deathcore bands are “Widow the Sea” and “Chelsea Grin”. I personally like deathcore because not only is alot of it technical but its also brutal.

Theres a war going on between the music genres. Deathcore people cant like grindcore and grindcore cant like hardcore when honestly i think its incredibly stupid. Who cares if someone likes deathcore and hardcore? Also, if you call a band by the wrong genre, like lets say you call “Carnifex”, one of the biggest deathcore bands, grindcore or metalcore, the deathcore community would burn you at the stake for saying that cause they take it all to seriously. Personally, again, it dosent bother me. But what does bother me is when kids who listen to “A Day to Remember” call themselves hardcore and act scene. That is probably the worst. Anyway getting off topic, basically what im saying is deathcore fans, who gives a fuck if someone calls something the wrong genre or they listen to other genres? I don’t think it should matter, as long as they support good music and continue making good bands of metal.

The best Deathcore band in this moment is the great “ALL SHALL PERISH” and I give you a little description of the band to know it.

From Oakland California, ALL SHALL PERISH blasted on to the bay area scene in 2002 playing every kind of show imaginable. They quickly found themselves embraced by every facet of the insanely diverse bay area music scene from emo to tech death. After recording their own self titled 3 song demo, a Japanese label called Amputated Vein Records decided to release the first ALL SHALL PERISH full length “Hate.Malice.Revenge”.

These 8 tracks proved to become an underground favorite over the next year as ALL SHALL PERISH slammed the stage along side acts such as BLEEDING THROUGH, DYING FETUS, BRUJERIA, AS I LAY DYING, SIX FEET UNDER, HATE ETERNAL, DIECAST, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, MORTICIAN, UNDYING and many more.

The album itself is metal and hardcore influenced but unlike so many bands today the metal aspect is not solely confined to the sounds of Sweden, greats such as DYING FETUS, CANNIBAL CORPSE and INTERNAL BLEEDING are responsible for much of the bands death metal roots. However, ALL SHALL PERISH also blends into the mix sounds from DIMMU BORGIR to ALL OUT WAR. "Hate.Malice.Revenge" is a hybridization of the heavy fucking music we love and as a band ALL SHALL PERISH continues to destroy the stage while bringing together the various scenes of heavy music to head bang, spin kick, circle pit, two step and wall of death.

The band's lyrics consist of several different themes, mainly upon the foundation of politics, such as government control, fascism and corporate control. For example; the song "Black Gold Reign" from Awaken the Dreamers is in reference to current countries around the world adopting oil as a main source of currency. A majority of their songs are politically-based.
